Former Georgian farmhouse and grade 2 listed building, that became a pub in 1969. The main rectangular-shaped room is light and airy, with the bar along the right-hand side, leather sofas and a mirror above the fire. Set in half an acre of land with ample parking, a large garden and children's play area. Permanent marquee with bar for functions of up to 150 people. A separate room seating up to 30 people serves food 12-2, 6-9 Mon-Thurs,12-9 Sat and 12-6 Sun. Food served 365 days a year using local produce. Five handpumps dispense the real ales, three of which change regularly. Received a CAMRA Gold Award in August 2010. Annual beer festival in spring. On the Green Wheel route from Peterborough. Occasional live music. Recent (mid 2014) refurb to move the bar and add wood panelling
