Local bands hold a charity night for Youth Enterprise Scheme

The Windmill on Cherry Orton Road in Orton Waterville has been declared Best Tenanted/Leased Pub in East Anglia in the Morning Advertiser's Great British Pub Awards.

The Grapevine in Queen Street Peterborough re-opened at 5.30pm on Friday 6th August selling two Charles Wells beers.

On p.35 BAE No.154 you refer to The College Arms as being the old library. The library was in the building to the north which became a night club. The College Arms was the original Peterborough Technical College which pre-ceeded the one in Eastfield which started in the late 1940s.

The Scotgate in Stamford has been converted back to a proper pub (Was Cromwells) and will reopen on Friday 25th June for strictly over-21s only.

Members from each of the branches in East Anglia surveyed the pubs that each branch submitted as a nominee for East Anglian champion and the Hand & Heart has now been named as champion.
An award ceremony will be arranged in due course.
