Historical correction
On p.35 BAE No.154 you refer to The College Arms as being the old library. The library was in the building to the north which became a night club. The College Arms was the original Peterborough Technical College which pre-ceeded the one in Eastfield which started in the late 1940s.

CAMRA Cycle Rally - Sat 3rd July - 6pm - Cathedral Square
Don't forget that fun annual event 'The CAMRA Cycle Rally' this coming Saturday. Meet at Cathedral Square 5.45pm for 6pm start. All comers welcome. Teams to be made up of between 1 & 5 people. Free to enter just bring your bike & a pen. Trophy currently resides in Norfolk - come along and win it back for Peterborough!

Scotgate to reopen on 25th June
The Scotgate in Stamford has been converted back to a proper pub (Was Cromwells) and will reopen on Friday 25th June for strictly over-21s only.

Hand & Heart is Cambridgeshire Pub of the Year 2010
Members from each of the branches in East Anglia surveyed the pubs that each branch submitted as a nominee for East Anglian champion and the Hand & Heart has now been named as champion.
An award ceremony will be arranged in due course.

Carpenters Arms, Coates
The Carpenters Arms at Coates is due to close at the end of April as the lease ends. The customers are putting together a petition to save the pub.

Walk the Dog at Risk
The Walk the Dog in Chatteris currently does not have an alcohol licence as it has been removed by Punch Taverns who are in dispute with the operators of the pub. Customers are taking their own alcohol to get round the problem. More info on www.thedogchatteris.co.uk
